In a development described by its founder as ‘significant for the firm’, Dr Roman Cholij of Cam Trade Marks & IP Services has announced the firm’s ties with Business Link East of England as an approved supplier of Intellectual Property Services to small businesses. SMEs who qualify for vouchers on the Business Link government scheme to seek free or discounted professional advice and services, may approach Cam Trade Marks with the full knowledge that it is an approved service. Its first clients have already expressed their full satisfaction with the services they have received through this Business Link referral.

Dr Roman Cholij is in addition an approved presenter on Business Link’s October 2008 - March 2009 Business Briefings programme entitled ‘Developing and Growing Businesses’. Roman has already presented to groups of business people in Basildon, Essex and at St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge, and will be presenting in the New Year on 19th February at Bury St Edmunds. The title of his talk is ‘Using the Intellectual Property System to Protect and Grow Your Business’ and covers the basics of the UK Intellectual Property System - patents, trade marks, copyright and designs - intangible asset auditing, IP valuation methods and the basics of licensing.
